Site Safety Training (SST) Cards need to be renewed every 5 years. To renew your SST Card, you need to take the 8 Hour Site Safety Refresher Course which includes the following courses:

4 Hour Fall Prevention
-
4 Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher
You must renew your SST Card within 12 months of the expiration date!
ABC Safety Group offers the 8 Hour Site Safety Refresher Course in-person and online! Don't wait, renew your card before it expires!
Note: To renew your SST card, you must: Complete the 8 Hour SST Refresher courses within the 1 year before you apply and apply for your SST Card through a DOB-approved course provider—you don’t automatically get a new card after finishing the courses.
Important: If your card is already expired, you must retake all required courses from the beginning. You must renew your card before it expires.

Supervisor SST Cards need to be renewed every 5 years. To renew your Supervisor SST Card, you need to take the 16 Hour SST Supervisor Renewal Course which includes the following courses:

You must renew your Supervisor SST Card within 12 months of the expiration date!
ABC Safety Group offers the 16 Hour Supervisor Site Safety Refresher Course in-person and online! Don't wait, renew your card before it expires!
Note: To renew your Supervisor SST card, you must: Complete the 16 Hour SST Refresher courses within the 1 year before you apply and apply for your SST Card through a DOB-approved course provider—you don’t automatically get a new card after finishing the courses.

Check Your Expiration Date: Your SST card expires 5 years after the issue date. Do not wait—there is no grace period. Once it expires, you must start over.

Complete the Required Training: You must take 8 hours of approved SST refresher courses (16 hours for Supervisor SST Card) within 1 year before your renewal application.

Receive Your New SST Card: Once processed, you’ll receive a new card valid for another 5 years. Be sure to confirm whether it will be mailed or picked up.
Important: If your SST card is expiring within 3 business days of completing your refresher course, contact us immediately at (718) 307-8133 or info@abcsafetygroup.com to expedite your order. Your SST card is not officially renewed until the new card is printed and issued—completing the required training alone is not enough. Without the printed card, you risk losing your renewal.
